Hayley Sanchez is a digital producer with The Arizona Republic, where she copy edits and prepares stories for online publication with multimedia elements like photos, videos, graphics and more. She was a digital media intern with The Republic through the Dow Jones News Fund internship program. Prior, Hayley interned at The Denver Post's city desk covering the Denver-metro area and breaking news. She also worked for The Bulletin in Bend, Ore. as a 2016 Chips Quinn Scholar and tracked crime with D.C. Witness in Washington, D.C. through the CU in D.C. program.
In May 2017, Hayley graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism - News Editorial. She was a part of the CU-LEAD College of Media Communication and Information Diversity Scholars at CU Boulder. Hayley was also Norlin Scholar. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hayley is passionate about storytelling, and creating and sharing multimedia content.
